About Baldrock Kennel & Cattery
Baldrock Kennels and Cattery opened its doors in 2003 and it’s now owned and run by an animal loving family who took over in 2020. Camille and Dylan, and their two children Maddox and Georgia. We are big Labrador fans and have 5 of our own, Whittaker, Layla, Maddison, Paddy & Ebony. We also have two cats, Charlie the ragdoll & Meow meow the ginger stray we found in Hikirangi.
Camille is an experienced qualified veterinary nurse and has always had a passion for animals. She has an extensive amount of experience with animals.
When your pets come to stay with us, they will be treated as if they were one of ours. They will receive lots of love and pats, plenty of opportunity to exercise and play. And of course be fed twice a day with a good quality diet, with a variety of excellent brands to choose from.
Camille and Dylan live on site, their house is situated nearby the cattery and overlooks the kennels.
If your pet requires a vet while they are with us, the lovely team at YourVet has a vet available 24/7 and is only a short drive away, and since Camille also has a veterinary nursing diploma, you can rest assured your furry family member is in experienced hands.
The property and location were specifically chosen with boarding kennels in mind. It’s just two minutes’ drive off State Highway One in a tranquil and peaceful setting amongst the beautiful rural environment of Kaiwaka, overlooking the Brynderwyn hills.
Drive time from Auckland is just over 60 minutes.
Baldrock is a small facility where personal care and attention for every pet is paramount.
The surroundings are used to full advantage, giving every pet plenty of exercise and opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in safely fenced exercise areas. The best time is playtime and we give them as much as we can!
Weather and daylight hours permitting, dogs come out multiple times a day for as much exercise as they want.
Cats have 24 hour access to indoor and outdoor play areas or, if in individual housing, their own private deck.
